Going Into 2023

 Hello!

An extra post for December as there are one or two changes coming up in 2023.

 At the moment we begin our new challenges on the first Monday of the month, well from January 2023 we're going to make it easier for you to remember our start date. All challenges will commence on the 1st of each month and stay open the entire month. So an extra few days to get your cards linked up!

Sadly we are saying goodbye to two DT members - Bhavya and Nonni. They are both awesome card makers and we're really sorry to see them go. All best wishes for the New Year to you both and good luck with wherever your crafting journey takes you next.

I too am taking a bit of a break from making cards, but will continue to work hard behind the scenes as admin to keep the challenges running as smoothly as I can.

The flip side of all this is that we get to welcome some incredible new members to the team. In fact I decided to not just replace the three who are stepping down but up the DT numbers so that you get even more inspiration to play along.

Hi everyone, 

I'm Deekshita based in Mangaluru, India. I a am full-time mom to an adorable pre-schooler in the day and a crafter by night. My forte is critters and I love to use them in my cards. Ink blending and colour play are my card's spotlight. Birthday cards are my favourites to make and I get my inspiration from challenges. I'm very much excited to be a part of AAA Birthday DT team and looking forward to it :)

Hello - I'm Helen a card making addict!  I love my stamps, digi stamps, papers and Promarkers and am a big fan of card making challenges.  I love to make birthday cards and I'm looking forward to being a part of the team and joining in with the challenges.

Hello, I'm Kateryna Aloshyna.

Pioniya is my nickname.

I`m Ukrainian, now based in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria.

I started making cards in 2014. My creative heart belongs to the CAS, I am an avid stampoholic! Most often I colorize stamps with watercolor. Sometimes I сreate mixed media and paper projects. Besides scrapbooking, I also love painting.

Hi all. I am Elaine, new to AAA Birthday Challenge.  I have been making cards for about 18 months.  Before that I was heavily into mixed media (very messy stuff). I had made a few cards over the years though not that often.  I came across the CAS style and found it suited me best.  Anyway here I am ready to rock and roll.

Hi everyone! I'm Giorgia, I live in Sardinia, Italy. I am married and I am an engineer, I have two beautiful and naughty cats.

I have been making decorations for birthday parties and greeting cards for several years, I love handmade.

Swapna

Namaste, I am Swapna from India. I have been crafting from childhood and in childhood i used to make cross stitch cards. Post marriage i stumbled upon stamping and die cutting and it filled all that free time I had. Now though my toddler occupies most of my time still I love card making as it keeps me energized.

Vicki

Hi my name is Vicki Dutcher.  I live in Arizona with my husband of 31 years, along with our 12 year old dog.  I retired after 20 years at Starbucks, and stamping is my lifeline in retirement!  I love this hobby - always something new to learn and try.  I am happy to be on this team.  It's a great fit since 85% of my cards are birthday.  Thanks Jane for having me!

I am delighted to introduce you to our new DT member Sandhya. 

I am a proud wife, and mom of two boys with an addiction to making cards and currently learning watercolor painting, and botanical drawing. I am from India, but have been living in USA for the past 6 years. I enjoy spreading joy and kindness through my creations. When it comes to stamping, I am a sucker for flowers, next comes cute critter stamps that are easy to color. I am bad at building elaborate scenes, something I need to work on. I also love background stamps, cover plate dies and embossing folders. I could go on forever! 

We're all looking forward to working with Sandhya and I know you will be thrilled with her wonderful cards.

A big hello to everyone.  My name is Pip and I'm delighted to be part of this Design Team.  
I live in a city in the North Island of New Zealand with my husband and 2 dogs.  My two daughters are currently studying/living in a city two hours away so we are able to still have regular family time together.  
I have dabbled in lots of traditional handcrafts since I was young and came across cardmaking in 2015 when my daughters left home to study at University.  I found cardmaking a perfect way to express my creativity and to give people a one of a kind hug in a card.  
I love using all types of mediums...my current style is Anything Goes 😜.

Hello!  My name is Sarah and I have been a keen papercrafter for over 10 years now - it keeps me sane alongside a full time job, two teenage boys and a very bouncy cockapoo called Oscar :)  I have been really lucky to have been on some great DTs over the years and still work with Uniko.  This past year has seen me launch my own range of stencils and stamps which you can find in my online store - www.funkyfossil.co.uk.  My style tends to be CAS but every now and then my inner messy crafter comes out to play!  I love inks, pastes, paints and basically all manner of techniques.  I am really looking forward to being on this great DT.  I may even get around to sending a birthday card every now and then rather than just making them!!

I'm originally from Hull in the UK, but we emigrated and for the last 11.5 years I have been living in Melbourne Australia. 
I studied art at school and I still have my original water colour Rowney Georgian set haha
I have been making cards/crafting for nearly 20 years but only started blogging and Instagram this April ...yes it took me a while...
I've been a guest DT, and I'm also on  MMM DT with Wei
You'll see I love colouring florals, with any medium, I also have full set syndrome...haha

my Name is Angela and I’m living with my hubby Andreas and our Beagle Cooper in Berlin / Germany.

I’m so happy to be part of this wonderful Design Team.♥

I'm crafting since my childhood and many years ago I discovered the stamping world for me. I really love to create cards, boxes and other things with lovely images and embellishments. I'm loving to color my images and backgrounds with different techniques: Copic Markers, Distress Inks, Aquarelle pencils. It's so  relaxing for me to sit in my craft corner and create birthday cards. I really love it to send out some handmade greeting cards for friends and family.

Hi, everyone! My name is Milla and I’m from Finland. I’m Mum to two little boys and a wife to one very supportive husband – and I seem to be owned by two beautiful Birman cats! I’m very happy to join the talented Design Team at AAA Birthday.

I have been making cards for some years now and tend to lean towards the clean and simple style. I love colouring with watercolours, Copic markers and coloured pencils and my favourite stamps are floral ones, although I do like cute stamps as well. I’m a part of the Design Team at The Flower Challenge and contribute cards to Penny Black as a Simplicity Sister.
